Energy Technology Cluster Berlin-Brandenburg

With more than 6,400 companies and nearly 58,000 employees in the Berlin-Brandenburg Energy Technology Cluster, the capital region is brimming with energy. Since 2011, both federal states have been making a significant contribution to supporting cross-border innovation potential within the Energy Technology Cluster, focusing on the core areas of renewable energies, energy efficiency, energy networks and storage, as well as turbomachinery and power plant technology. Networking energy technology companies in the capital region with research institutions substantially increases sales of new products and services.
