SafeMatic Lubrication Technoloy

SafeMatic has been considered one of the most important manufacturers of centralised lubrication systems for many years. Formerly part of John Crane, the company was acquired by SKF, the Swedish lubrication technology experts, in 2006. The products from SafeMatic lubrication technology have thereby expanded SKF's extensive range of available products. The acquisition was particularly important, as the company had a large technical lead in the field of central lubrication systems. The SafeMatic systems promise considerably fewer breakdowns than manual variants due to automatic control. In addition, the automatic distribution of greases and oils ensures that the distribution is more accurate and systems can be operated more economically.

As a contractual partner of SKF Lubrication, we also provide you with support in selecting the right lubrication components to replace your Safematic components.

Centralised Lubrication Systems from SafeMatic

The SG-2 lubrication system

The most important part of SafeMatic is the Safegrease 2 (SG-2) lubrication system, which has not only won many awards over the years, but has also especially proven itself in industry. The SG-2 is a dual-line central lubrication system designed for use in the pulp and paper industry. The system is controlled automatically and therefore operates with a particularly high degree of accuracy. At the same time, the automatic system minimises environmental influences and increases safety. The accuracy of the system can be increased still further by other technical achievements such as the possibility of controlling the two dosing units individually and automatically. Grease guns are also available as additional equipment. In addition, there is an inbuilt control system that can be operated remotely. Problem reports can even be sent automatically via SMS to mobile phones.

The SafeOil model

The SafeOil system from SafeMatic lubrication technology is another important system on the market. In addition to a similar field of application as Safegrease 2, SafeOil is also used in sawmills. This central lubrication system, which specialises in the distribution of oil to lubricated components, has particular advantages here. For example, the SafeOil central lubrication system can be used to supply saws and lubricated surfaces with lubricants in cycles. The product line here guarantees significant advantages over manual systems, as the automatic distribution of lubricants not only reduces component wear but also brings about rapid reduction in equipment failures. In addition to central management via external devices, accessories can also be ordered for this model in order to customise the central lubrication system still further.

The all-rounder

The MultiLube central lubrication system is the ultimate all-rounder. The system is designed to be used both outdoors and indoors. In addition, the system can work with one dosing unit as well as with two dosing units for larger applications. Both are centrally controlled in each case and ensure that as little lubricant as possible is used. The system can also be supplied with different lubricants.

The special models

A special model is the FlowLine central lubrication system, which is especially designed to work at extremely high temperatures. The system ensures that oil is transported to the respective lubrication points at all times with the right quality and circulation. In contrast to conventional systems, the FlowLine central lubrication system achieves this by having an oil reservoir. Finally, the Safeflow system is another variant that ensures an ideal flow at all times and is correspondingly used where flow control and oil quality are of particular importance.
