A-Lok, Swagelok, Hy-Lok
Threaded fittings/adapters
The product range includes a wide selection of ISO and ANSI standardised threads and is therefore widely compatible with Swagelok and Hy-Lok tube fittings. Corresponding standardised products from Swagelok and Hy-Lok can therefore be easily replaced with A-LOK fittings without any difficulty.
The various models are available in both inch and metric sizes.
Ferrule design
Due to the special ferrule design, installation forces are transmitted axially to the tube. This prevents the tube from being stressed during installation and from twisting or deforming. The mechanical integrity of the tube is maintained, allowing easy disassembly of the nut and a large number of new assemblies. The tightness of the fittings is maintained during the process.
Materials
Parker A-LOK-fittings are available as standard in 316 stainless steel. Also available as standard materials are carbon steel, brass, aluminium, nickel-copper, Hastelloy C®, Incolloy, titanium, 6Mo, Inconel 625 and 825. For nuclear and other particularly critical applications, stainless steel fittings with material quality certificates (EN 10204, 3.1b) are available.
Parker A-LOK tube fittings can be used with a wide range of tube materials and tube wall thicknesses. Due to possible thermal deformation and for maximum chemical stability, the tube should be made of the same material as the fitting.
Tube fittings
Parker A-Lok tube fittings are available in a wide range of variants. As standard, you can choose between imperial and metric sizes.
Tube fittings with screw-in or screw-on threads are available in straight, bulkhead, elbow, 45° elbow and T-piece versions. Special thermocouple and manometer fittings are also available.
Special connector elements are used as adapters between metric and imperial tubes or between tubes with different diameters and are available as elbow, straight and T-piece. Bulkhead connectors and cross-piece connectors are also available.
Dielectric fittings are used where electric current flows through a line and measuring instruments could be damaged or influenced by it. The current flow is reliably interrupted by a dielectric fitting.
Connection adapters are supplied as tube reducers, tube bulkhead adapters, tube sockets, screw-in adapters, screw-on adapters, Push-Lok adapters, Push-Lok with port connector, adapters with flange connection and calibration adapters for DP transmitters.
The product line also includes 37° Flare (AN) adapters in internal, external and bulkhead fitting versions.
Also included are various versions of fittings with O-ring sealed parallel threads. In the case of these fitting elements, sealing is performed not via the thread but via a separate sealing ring. In addition to the straight, elbow and T-piece standard variants, fitting elements according to US standards with chambered O-ring are also available.
Analytical fittings are a further component of the extensive product line. The range includes analytical fittings with column end fittings with and without frit, as well as straight connectors and screw-in fittings with particularly low dead volumes.
Fittings with welded connection and hose fittings round off the range. Individual components such as support sleeves, union nuts, ferrules and ferrule holders, as well as sealing washers and bulkhead nuts are, of course, also available.
