Nitrogen generators

Parker domnick hunter provides the MAXIGAS nitrogen generator, among others. MAXIGAS is a cost-effective, reliable and safe solution for medium to large nitrogen requirements. If only small to medium quantities of nitrogen are required, the MIDIGAS nitrogen generator is the ideal solution.

Both these domnick hunter models extract nitrogen from compressed air by means of the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) process. The compressed air is passed through a carbon molecular sieve (CMS) in this process. Oxygen and other impurities are adsorbed on the CMS, whereas nitrogen can pass unhindered. A sophisticated system consisting of several CMS beds, which automatically switch alternately between production and regeneration mode, ensures uninterrupted nitrogen production. 

Compressed air filters and dryers

Parker domnick hunter offers a range of high-efficiency compressed air filters for gas preparation for industry as well as for rail traffic and railway transportation. A clean pressure medium guarantees minimal downtime and consistent good performance of the pneumatic system. An effective filter system is also indispensable to protect production and employees from harmful environmental conditions. 

In addition, a selection of special compressed air dryers is available to efficiently separate water vapour from the pressure medium. If water vapour remains in the system, it can lead to corrosion, clogged or frozen valves and consequently result in a complete breakdown of the system. The domnick hunter PNEUDRI compressed air dryers are characterised by a modular design and can be designed to be extremely flexible. The use of multi-banking allows routine maintenance to be carried out on an individual dryer without interrupting the entire production process. 

Oil/water separators

As a rule, after oil and water have been successfully separated by a compressed air filter or compressed air dryer, the mixture should not be disposed of directly for environmental reasons. The ES2000 oil/water separators reduce the oil content in the condensate to an acceptable level. Up to 99.9% of the condensate can be cleaned in this way and then disposed of in the public sewage system, whereas the dangerous residues can be collected and then disposed of in a technically correct manner. 

Breathing air filter

domnick hunter breathing air filters are used when the production process could represent a potential hazard to employees. Here it is important to determine not only the type but also the degree of the potential hazard in order to be able to guarantee effective protection.

The special breathing air filters cleanse the breathing air from harmful impurities and microorganisms. Depending on the model, it is also possible to reduce the CO and CO2 levels of the breathing air.
