Parker Legris on the Internet ...

Legris TRANSAIR

Legris S.A. was founded in 1848 as a factory manufacturing water taps in France. The company became well-known for its LF3000® quick connector, invented in 1969, and other high-quality products for pneumatic applications. In 2008, Legris S.A. was sold by the parent company Legris Industries to the American group Parker Hannifin and integrated into the group.

Connection elements

Legris is well-known for the development of the LF3000® quick connector, a compact connection element for numerous pneumatic applications. The most diverse variants of the quick connection system are available now. They are suitable up to a maximum operating pressure of 20 bar. In addition to connection elements for compressed air, Parker Legris also manufactures systems for hydraulic applications. The LIQUIFIT and LIQUIFIT+ push-in fittings systems have been developed for liquid transfer applications. These dependable and compact connections are suitable for all liquid transport applications. LIQUIFIT+ is ideal for sensitive liquids and is specially designed to limit the development of bacteria in the liquid circuit.  The Legris LF3600 quick connection system made of brass is chemically nickel-plated and is therefore particularly suitable for applications in the food industry. The materials comply with the FDA standard and the 1935/2005/EC regulation. The stainless steel versions LF3900 and LF3800 also withstand aggressive media and are used in the food industry, chemical industry and pharmaceutical industry, among others.  The brass LF6100 system has been designed for use in central lubrication systems and allows liquids to be transferred up to an operating pressure of 60 bar.  Another product group is the compact function fittings from Parker Legris. Throttle check fittings made of polymer are suitable for all standard pneumatic applications, whereas designs made from metal can withstand difficult conditions without any problems.  The range of piloted function fittings includes blocking fittings, piloted check valves and quick exhaust valves. Also available is a selection of differential pressure control fittings, sensor fittings, directional control valves and silencers.

Shut-off valves

Parker Legris manufactures and distributes an extensive range of shut-off valves in various shapes and sizes. The range includes brass or stainless steel ball valves for low and medium pressure applications and mini ball valves for pneumatic circuits. Needle valves for progressive flow control are also available. Needle valves are available in both in-line and angle designs and operate dependably up to a nominal pressure of 120 bar. Axial valves are particularly suitable for use in filling systems. They have the advantage of having a particularly compact design and allow space savings of up to 50% as compared to ball valves with actuators.

Quick acting couplers and blowguns

Quick acting couplers for Legris compressed air systems allow safe and fast connection and disconnection. The range includes C9000 safety quick acting couplers made of polymer, fully automatic quick acting couplers with sleeves, and quick acting couplers for injection moulding applications. Accessories are also available, such as anti-kink springs, rotary connectors and flexible hinge connectors. Parker Legris also manufactures a wide range of blowguns with nozzle tubes in various shapes and sizes.
