Grease guns

Grease guns, also referred to as cartridge presses or manual lever lubrication guns, work with single-use cartridges or loose grease. These lubrication systems are used e.g. for manual greasing of not installed bearings or for open drives. Manual lever lubrication guns are used for industrial applications, in agriculture and in building construction but also for consumer use. In combination with a single-use cartridge, they are very clean and easy to use. 

Grease presses can be filled with loose grease. For clean and simple filling, SKF Lubrication developed grease filling pumps. These devices can be connected effortlessly to a standard reservoir and are easy to use. Thanks to the great piston volume, the filling is simple and fast whilst contamination of lubricants or environment are prevented.  



Lubricating grease pumps

Lubricating grease pumps are connected to the reservoir and are used to fill grease presses or for manual lubrication. They can also be connected directly to lubricating points and are suitable for use with central lubrication systems. 
The lubricating grease pump attachment bearing greaser was developed specifically to grease rolling bearings. The penetration of contaminations to bearing and grease is effectively prevented thanks to the enclosed system with sealing cap. The system is easy to operate, quick, clean and prevents unnecessary grease loss.  



Oil tank and oil level monitor

Oil level monitors simplify the lubrication of bearing, drive and crank housings and other applications of oil-bath lubrication. The oil level can be easily re-adjusted during operation. 

An oil level monitor consists of two connected oil tanks. The oil in the upper storage tank can only flow into the lower tank if the oil level drops below the minimum. This ensures ideal lubricant supply and at the same time an oil reserve is provided to be able to quickly and automatically compensate losses due to leakages or evaporation. The oil reserve can be easily monitored by a visual check and can be refilled by hand at any time.  

Oil tanks in various models allow professional storage and handling of lubrication oils of any type. Standard dimensions and dispenser lids with spouts allow for clean and efficient lubrication whilst contamination of the lubrication oils and the environment are reduced to a minimum.  This does not only save costs but also increases work safety.  



Accessories

SKF Lubrication offers special gloves to protect hands when handling the greases and lubrication oils during manual lubrication of components and machines. The powder-free special gloves are anti-allergic and have outstanding resistance against bearing lubricants.  

Grease quantity measuring devices allow reliable measuring of grease quantities. This prevents any danger of over or under supplying lubricants no matter which lubrication equipment is used.
