As a connector element, any fitting is only as good as the effectiveness of the assembly process and therefore depends on how it has been assembled. New geometries and material compositions have more and more improved performance, reliability and ease of assembly in recent years. Parker has consistently set new standards in the marketplace in this field.
- EO-3® System: for tube connectors and hose applications
- Tube sizes: all standard tube outer diameters from 06 mm to 42 mm with the commercially available tube wall thicknesses
- Series: EO-3® dispenses with the standard series classification of LL, L and S! One pressure stage applies uniformly regardless of size.
- Pressure stage: uniformly 420 bar for all tube sizes. Exceptions are typical “L series” such as 22, 28, 35, 42 with 250 bar. Qualification of pressure stages corresponds to ISO 8434 requirements
- Tube connector thread standard: Taper thread, flank and taper dimensions specially developed by Parker for EO-3® are exactly matched to assembly performance (i.e., stroke and force) and also to the tear-out and shear resistance of a tube connector.
- Fitting material: Steel
- Tube material: conventional hydraulic steel tube material, e.g., E235 (ST37) or E355 (ST52.4), standard according to DIN EN 10305-4
- Elastomer material: NBR
- Surface treatment: Parker - CF corrosion protection
- Temperature resistance: -40 ºC to +120 ºC (analogous to NBR)
- Media compatibility: analogous to NBR material
- Energy efficiency – via matched bores with improved flow properties
