Forced Labor
We do not tolerate slavery, servitude, forced labor, or human trafficking in our supply chain. We also firmly reject debt or indentured servitude. This includes any work or service demanded of a person under threat of punishment and for which they have not volunteered. (Legal basis: ILO Conventions Nos. 29 and 105 and ICCPR)
Child Labor
We strictly reject child labor in our supply chain. We must avoid any form of child labor in our company. The definition of child labor is based on the provisions of Conventions Nos. 138 and 182 of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
Working Hours and Remuneration
We ensure compliance with applicable legal provisions and the working time regulations established by ILO standards. We expect ourselves to offer our employees fair and competitive remuneration and other benefits. Appropriate remuneration is determined by the regulations of the respective place of employment and corresponds to at least the legally established minimum wage. The cost of living for employees and their families is taken into account.
Right of Association
We attach great importance to maintaining open and constructive communication with our employees and employee representatives. In doing so, we are committed to supporting the right of association and the right to collective bargaining in accordance with applicable laws.
Equality
The equal treatment of all employees is a fundamental principle of our company policy. We ensure that they are treated with respect, free from harassment or abuse of any kind, without harsh or inhumane treatment, and can carry out their work free from unlawful practices or discrimination.
Health and Safety
We are responsible for adequately protecting our employees from hazards. Physically demanding activities and working conditions, as well as risks arising from the use of existing workplace infrastructure, are managed in such a way that employees are not exposed to any hazards. We ensure appropriate controls, safe work processes, proper maintenance, and necessary technical protective measures to reduce health and safety risks in the workplace and prevent accidents and occupational illnesses. In addition, we provide our employees with appropriate protective clothing, and safety-related training is conducted regularly.
