Consulting and service for Olaer heat exchangers, hydraulic accumulators, bladder accumulators, diaphragm accumulators and piston accumulators. Fast and inexpensive delivery of all Olaer products.

Olaer was founded in 1936 as an independent company and has decades of experience in the fields of hydraulic accumulators, oil cooling and energy control. The company was integrated into the Parker Hannifin Group on 1 July 2012.

Industrie-Hydraulik Vogel & Partner GmbH has been a certified distribution partner for the product and service portfolio of the Parker Olaer brand in the field of heat exchangers, hydraulic accumulators, diaphragm accumulators, bladder accumulators and piston accumulators for many years.

Heat exchangers

A heat exchanger is used to regulate the optimum operating temperature in high-performance hydraulic systems. Depending on the type, a distinction is made between oil/air coolers and oil and water cooling systems.  The extensive range of oil/air coolers includes the LOC cooling system with the QPM circulation pump, as well as the compact and low-noise LAC system with AC motor, the LDC system with DC motor and the LHC system with hydraulic motor. These oil/air coolers are particularly suitable for outdoor applications as they are insensitive to frost. The choice of the right cooling system depends, among other things, on the exact dimensions of the system to be cooled.  The heat exchangers offered by Parker Olaer in this field include the plate heat exchanger PWO, the plate cooler GWO and the tube bundle heat exchanger SWO.  The plate heat exchanger PWO is a compact and lightweight oil/water cooler. Thanks to the corrugated channel plates, turbulent flows are generated in the cooler, thereby increasing the cooling capacity while minimising the risk of deposits.  The plate cooler GWO is manufactured in a modular design, which can be easily extended and adapted, and can therefore 'grow' with the system to be cooled.  The tube bundle heat exchanger SWO corresponds to the performance requirements of oil hydraulics. The SWO series is suitable for average heat dissipation from 3kW to 500kW.

Hydraulic accumulators

Since a liquid is practically incompressible, it cannot be used directly for storing pressure energy. To enable a continuous supply of pressure energy to a hydraulic system, special hydraulic accumulators are used in which the pressure energy is stored by means of a compressed gas, usually nitrogen, and which can transfer it to the hydraulic system if necessary. Among other things, the different types differ in the storage volume and the maximum permissible operating pressure. Parker Olaer's diaphragm accumulators of the ELM series use a flexible diaphragm to separate gas from liquid. The range includes diaphragm accumulators with sizes between 0.6 and 3.5 litres for a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar.  In Olaer bladder accumulators, the gas and liquid sides are separated by a bladder. This means that only the liquid chamber is directly connected to the hydraulic system. Bladder accumulators are available in different models. Depending on the model, the EHV series is suitable for pressures up to 690 bar. The EBV series is designed for 40 to 80 bar.  Piston accumulators separate gas and liquid by means of a movable piston. They are generally used in accumulator systems with very large effective volumes. A piston accumulator therefore usually requires an additional nitrogen accumulator.

Pumps

Parker Olaer provides the QPM series gerotor low-pressure pump, which is a low-noise alternative with good efficiency and an interesting price/performance ratio. Thanks to their compact design, these pumps are used, among other things, for circulating oil in cooling and filtration circuits, or for filling and emptying tanks.
