Racor Filters

Racor develops and produces filter technology for fuel, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. The main focus is on fuel filters and water filters. Racor is part of the Parker Hannifin Corporation.

Fuel filters

Racor has been manufacturing filters for fuel systems for over 40 years and has set industry standards with its innovations. The corporate sector produces and develops filters for every conceivable situation.  The Model 75/B32009 Fuel Filter /Water Separator is a compact and robust dual filter for diesel engines. The Aquabloc® replaceable filter element reliably removes water and solid impurities from the fuel and is available in pore sizes of 2, 10 and 30 microns.  With the high performance filter element Aquabloc® II, Racor offers a range of surface-mounted filters that can easily replace existing engine filters. Optional accessories, such as mounting heads, fuel heaters, water detection kits, hoses and fittings, are also available.  The RFF funnel filters are heavy-duty funnel filters, which remove water and other contaminants from petrol, fuel oil, diesel and kerosene. 

Air filters

Racor offers a range of air filters for fuel engines. The range includes pre-filters, marine filters, heavy-duty combination filters and air dryers. Pre-filters, such as the Racor AFAP series, are mounted upstream of the vehicle's air inlet to remove coarse contaminants from the air and relieve fine filters mounted downstream. The AFAP series is designed for slow agricultural and industrial machinery such as construction and mining equipment. The heavy-duty AFCS series, a three-stage air filter system, is also suitable for applications in trucks or buses.  The Racor AFM filter series was specially developed for maritime applications. Sand, salt, and other impurities are collected in an oil-impregnated filter element. The filter element can be cleaned and reused. At the same time, the unique design reduces noise generated by the engine.  Racor also offers a range of air dryers. Braking systems typically use compressed air from a compressor installed on-site. The incoming air contains moisture, which can cause damage inside the compressed air system, including rust. Maintenance costs can therefore be reduced with a suitable air dryer, and the service life of the system can be extended significantly. Racor air dryers are specially designed for pneumatic braking systems where they improve braking performance and reduce maintenance costs.

Water filters

Racor Village Marine Tec. (VMT) has been producing innovative filter technology for the desalination and purification of water for over 30 years. These filter systems are used, for instance, on drilling rigs, in desert areas and in disaster zones. Racor VMT water treatment systems are used by NASA and the American disaster assistance agency FEMA, among others.  Racor VMT sells smaller desalination systems, such as the modular, energy-saving Little Wonder watermaker, ideal for boat owners. The Pure Water series, on the other hand, is designed for continuous use even in difficult environments and has capacities ranging from 10,000 to 75,000 litres per day.  Racor VMT distributes bilge water absorption separators that comply with IMO Resolution MEPC 107(49).
