RECTUS and TEMA are product brands of Parker Quick Couplings Division Europe (QCDE). As the global market leader for motion and control components and systems, both brands have decades of experience in the development and production of quick couplings. In addition to a wide range of standard products, the company also provides custom-made products that are specifically tailored to individual customer requirements. 

Low pressure couplings

RECTUS is well-known for its quick couplings for air and gas applications in the low-pressure segment. With decades of experience, RECTUS guarantees the highest precision and reliability. The range includes quick couplings made of brass/steel, stainless steel and plastic in designs that are single shut-off, double shut-off, low leakage or straight-through. The standard nominal diameters are between 1.5 (1.8 mm²) and 30 (707 mm²). Special designs outside this range are also available on request. In addition to the standard models, there are special safety couplings from the RECTUS KE Series. An automatic venting system guarantees safe uncoupling. These safety couplings meet the requirements of ISO 4414 for increased safety standards in the workplace.  The RECTUS 95KS and 96KS Series were developed for respiratory protection systems. A special safety interlock prevents unintentional uncoupling.  RECTUS Moldtite Series 86, 87 and 88 couplings are available for connecting coolant lines and injection moulds. 

RectuTest

With the RectuTest measuring system, power losses can be detected immediately and the true consumption can be assigned to the correct cost centre. The device measures the flow of compressed air through pipes with an accuracy of 2.5%. A network function enables simple remote control and remote scanning of several measuring instruments via a linked-up PC. 

Medium pressure to high pressure systems

TEMA’s quick couplings were developed for medium and high pressure applications. The TEMA T Series is suitable for high flow rates with minimum pressure drop. Depending on the model, single or double shut-off systems and straight-through systems are available. The TEMA H Series is a further development of the standard hydraulic couplings with a focus on special load capacity. The steel coupling body also reliably withstands high lateral forces and high impulses.  The TFF series is particularly low leakage and prevents the ingress of air bubbles during the coupling process.  Products of the TIA Series are manufactured according to the specifications and dimensions of the ISO 7241-1, Series A standards and can be reliably coupled to products of the same standard. Thanks to the large flow rate, the pressure drop can be kept low. The TIB Series, on the other hand, complies with the ISO 7241-1 Series B standard and is compatible with products of this standard.  The TIF Series is produced according to ISO 16028. These couplings have extremely low leakage and reduce the pressure drop to a minimum.  The THP series has been developed for use in industrial tools and salvage devices. The optimised valve design ensures a high flow rate. These couplings are suitable for operating pressures up to 1000 bar.  The TDG series is used in hydraulic systems where rotating connections are essential. The body is made of either brass or steel, and the rotating axis is made of surface-coated or stainless steel.
